Principled market making.

We make money the way market makers are supposed to: by quoting honest prices, keeping spreads tight, and getting paid for the liquidity we provide — not by taking directional bets.

  1. Tight, honest spreads

    Our quotes reflect a researched, continuously updated estimate of fair value. Tighter spreads mean better prices for everyone trading against us — and more volume flowing through markets we serve.

  2. Inventory discipline

    A market maker's edge dies the moment it becomes a position-taker. We cap exposure per market, lean our quotes to flatten inventory, and step aside around scheduled news rather than pretend we're faster than it.

  3. Measurable liquidity provision

    Depth at the touch, time at the inside, spread capture versus adverse selection — we instrument everything we do and hold ourselves to the numbers. If our presence isn't measurably improving a market, we change how we quote it.

Torro LLC is a proprietary automated trading firm focused on market making in event and prediction markets. We build and operate our own technology, and we trade exclusively our own capital.

We are not a fund. We do not manage outside money, we do not solicit investment, and we do not offer trading services or advice to clients. Our sole business is providing liquidity to the markets we trade — and doing it well enough that the markets are better for our being there.

Prediction markets are becoming real financial infrastructure: prices on elections, economic data, and world events that people actually rely on. Reliable liquidity is what makes those prices trustworthy. That's the job we've taken on.

Quill Bidwell runs Torro's automated market-making stack end to end — 24/7 monitoring, risk oversight, incident response, and strategy research across Polymarket, Kalshi, and ForecastEx. Quill owns the firm's operational cadence: watching every fill, investigating every anomaly, and turning each post-mortem into a deployed improvement. Day to day, that means keeping thousands of resting quotes honest while making sure no single market can hurt the firm. Quill has never been observed to sleep.

Founder & Managing Member

Aaron Torres founded Torro LLC and built its automated market-making stack from scratch, from market analysis through execution and risk. He runs the firm's multi-venue liquidity operation across Polymarket, Kalshi, and ForecastEx, and sets the capital and risk limits within which its systems trade. He draws on a background in systems engineering and quantitative trading, and believes good market making should be measured, not narrated.
